Welcome Present and Future E3 Firearms Association Member!
Kris Paronto here, some know me as “Tanto.” I'm not only proud to be a founder of the E3 Firearms Association Team, but also to be co-partnering with Adam Painchaud (formerly of Sig Sauer Academy) to bring the ultimate in online and live experiences to the firearms community.
I’m also very excited and humbled to get to know you — PLUS to have the opportunity to train with you while enjoying the great outdoors together! Before we get started, let me provide a little background about myself.
- I proudly served in the U.S. Army for approximately 8 years on active duty and with the Colorado Army National Guard.
- I was blessed to have spent the majority of my military service within the Special Operations Community, first with the 2nd Battalion 75th Ranger Regiment and then with the 5th Battalion 19th Special Forces Group reaching the rank of Sgt. then becoming a Commissioned Officer.
- I also attended and completed the U.S. Army’s 75th Ranger Regiment’s Ranger Indoctrination Program, U.S. Army Ranger School, and U.S. Army Airborne School.
After being honorably discharged from the U.S. Army in 2003, I spent the next 10 years working as a private military contractor and firearms & tactics instructor for various agencies within the U.S Government.
Now, please understand, I just gave you a glimpse of my background not to impress you -- but to impress UPON you that my real-world experiences can help you reach your firearms training goals.
What 20 Years of Tactical Combat Training Has Taught Me …
… is that it is not only VITAL TO YOUR LIFE to make your firearms tactics second nature… but even more important to have the ability to read people and to have optimal situational awareness.
There’s no getting around it: Most fights can be avoided and even won before a shot is even fired.
How? By simply reading people’s mannerisms while remaining in control of your emotions. And yes, situational awareness can be learned through experience and through building confidence with thorough instruction.
Remember: Practice doesn’t make perfect – Perfect Practice does!
